Have you ever held yourself back from doing something you had a deep desire to do? Or were worried what other people might think of you? In today's tips I'm talking with Tonya Hatosy-Stier is from Woman to Woman Mentoring that is now in it's 10th year. The organization has helped over 400 women to improve their lives. She gives us Five powerful tips on how to live a more empowered life!

1- Get in Touch with the Stories of our Foundation.
We are only born with the fear of falling and loud noises. We learn all the other fears by the time we're 8 years old. By doing self examination and figuring out why we fear certain things we can overcome them.

2- Remove Your Mask.
We build up masks over years. Masks of Perfection or how to hold it all together. We need to get rid of those masks and start living a more authentic life.

3- Work on Yourself
Self-improvement is key. If you've ever felt stuck you need to start doing self-development. Hire a coach or join a workshop. You can find webinars on all kinds of topics. Start learning something new. You will get unstuck with knowledge.

4- What Other People Think of You is None of Your Business.
Don't hold back because you're worried what other people might think of you. Speak up at work with you idea or start a business. It doesn't matter what other people are thinking. Don't let it hold you back.

5- Follow Your Tug.
Listen to your internal guide. It's your gravitational pull and it will guide you to what you need to do next.

Woman to Woman Mentoring bit event is "Clutch the Future" on March 14th at Hood College.
